As you can see, the emission abatement is not easily reachable, but it will surely be easier if we start as soon as possible instead of waiting for 2030. What we can say is that we are venturing into an era that has never existed before and of which we have no direct experience of any kind. We should try, at the very least, to do all we can to avoid the worse. Then, who knows? Our descendants might be farmers in a deglaciated Antarctica.
